Charlie F. Dendy, DO
"I have special interest in Minimally Invasive Surgery. Minimally invasive surgery (sometimes called laparoscopic surgery) is done through small incisions. Using specialized techniques, miniature cameras with microscopes, tiny fiber-optic flashlights and special instruments, I can perform surgery through incisions that require only a stitch or two to close.
Minimally invasive surgery means less trauma to the body, less blood loss, smaller surgical scars and less need for pain medication. Patients leave the hospital sooner after minimally invasive surgery and return to normal activities sooner than with conventional open surgery.
I have extensive training in laparoscopic colon resections and laparoscopic hernia repairs including inguinal, ventral/incisional and hiatal hernias. I am committed to bringing the latest surgical advancements to Conroe."

”My goal in joining North Pines General Surgery is to provide high quality health care to the people of Montgomery County while bringing the latest in general surgical techniques.
I have special interests in Minimally Invasive Surgery. This includes laparoscopic resection of the stomach, small bowel, colon, rectum, appendix, gallbladder, and spleen for both benign and malignant disease. In addition, we also perform anti-reflux procedures, and hernia repair to include hiatal, ventral and inguinal hernias with the laparoscope. We also perform endoscopic procedures and all traditional general surgical "bread and butter" procedures to include thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy and breast cancer surgery, to name a few.
My family and I look forward to serving the people of Montgomery County for many years.“
